Argo International Corporation is seeking a
Director of International Sales to be based in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Director of International Sales will have an integral role with the senior management team in the development and execution of all aspects of growing and managing our international business in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, reporting directly to the President & CEO in our NYC headquarters.
Key Responsibilities* Know the overall market served by the international branches – market share, potential customers, competition, etc.
* Ensure proper alignment of resources with market potential.
* Review and appraise all sales people’s growth opportunities and performance in territory.
* Know and understand top accounts of each sales person, by market and growth potential. Develop and execute strategies to grow market share of accounts.
* Review local vendor contracts/manage local vendor relationships/recommend new products and coordinate development with Business Development team in New York.
* Review quote activity from Inside Sales, ensure proper response time, and proper margins.
* Make joint sales calls with sales force for performance objectives. Ensure proper planning and improvements in productivity. Provide mentoring and appropriate training when required.
* Ensure that Branch goals/incentives are in line and consistent with overall Corporate goals.
* Improve Operational and Financial performance, as well as customer satisfaction of International business.
Qualifications* Minimum 7 years international experience with a strong industrial background.
* BS Degree in Business, or Engineering.
* Proficient computer skills including use of MS Office.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present information to senior management, staff, customers, and suppliers.
* Strong organizational capabilities and ability to work within a fast-pace environment.
* Multi-lingual desired.
